NYC Trip Details + How I Packed!

PS – My jacket is oversized but supposed to be that way.  I would get your true size.

Hey girls, Happy Monday!  I was in NYC last week for work with Nordstrom to see all of the product coming out for spring in March and April.  It was intense!  We worked long days, but it was worth every bit of it.  Each day was filled with seeing fashion shows and hearing from designers that we carry about their journeys and inspiration behind their collections.  We were able to meet most of them, say hello and thank them in person.  There were too many “American Dream” stories to count, and it was so cool to hear it all!  Hopefully many of you were able to follow along on Snap/IG Stories to see it all up close!

I brought about 10 key pieces with me for my trip because I needed my outfits to take me from day to night, with maybe an easy/quick change before dinner.  My 2 leather jackets were total must have items and I wore one each day.  Thankfully, the weather was not bad at all and in the 60’s each day…until Friday.  We got out just in time on the last flight before the storm hit.  It was a nail biter for sure!

Here are my outfits each day:

One night, I wore the bottom half of this outfit, but changed into a black turtleneck and black leather jacket.  I linked it on the outfit with the green pants.

PS-My pants are high waisted and so flattering!!  The pin tuck that goes down the front lengthens your legs!  I would also wear the navy polka dot top (in the last pics) with these pants down here in Florida.

We had the pleasure of meeting Paige from Paige Denim one night and she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  She hosted a dinner party for us at the Jane Hotel Wednesday night.  To the far left is my friend Jennifer from Nashville.  I had so much fun hanging with her all week!

My top has the cutest back detail and will be coming to the blog soon!  These jeans were a gift from Paige, and they are sooo soft and comfy!  They run a little big, so you could size down in them.

This was in the Alice + Olivia store in the Meatpacking District.  Stacey Bendet is one of my favorite designers, and she hosted an incredible lunch for us on Thursday at the Standard.  It was such a privilege to be a part of it!

Thank you so much for reading!  xoxo, Christian
