Hey babes, Happy Monday! I spent Sunday last weekend in Long Boat Key with my bestie and photographer Sarah, where we took these pics and had such a fun day. It was totally last minute when we decided to go, but sometimes those are the best times ever. I know I’ve said it before, but girlfriends (and gays are just the best!), which brings me to my next point. I think I’ll just stick with them bc dating is toughhh! When my ex and I started dating, …
…texting wasn’t even a thing, so we actually had to talk on the phone. Imagine that..ha! Fast forward 14 years later and trying to date. With texting. With social media. Like Facebook. Instagram. Snapchat. Just to name a few. Can you tell I’m really not into it?! Lol. There are just too many options and too much out there and too much room for men who aren’t even single to hide things. Ugh. I’ve actually had a few fun experiences and some not so fun, but I am trying it and continuing to be open minded and not just sticking to “my type”, which was always tall and lean in case you were wondering. People always said that changes over time, and I would say that I definitely no longer have a type. I do have a list of things I’m looking for in a partner and many things that I refuse to settle on. I would also say I’m way less tolerant of those deal breakers now, which were all things that I used to put up with, which has been a very positive thing for me. So, the verdict is that I’ll continue to hang in there, be open minded, not put up with anymore bullshit until I meet the right person. Many of you have reached and shared your success stories and I have LOVED hearing them all. Thank you so so much and keep them coming!!

Love those jeans girl! You are rocking them! Dating is crazy too….I hear horror stories from my friends all the time. So many options nowadays like you said. I met my husband online in 2004 and that was like unheard of back then to meet or let alone date someone you met online……and there were so few options then too. I can’t imagine what I would do now with so many choices. Good luck girl and I’m sure the right one will come along when you are not expecting it (cliche I know!)
