Hey guys! First of all, I want to say thank you to all of you who reached out after my last blog post. The DM’s, comments, and texts were all appreciated more than you know, and I am beyond thankful for each and every one! I think divorce can be such a touchy subject where a lot of people have opinions about it. Throughout all of it, I learned to be more compassionate, less judgmental, and more empathetic towards people in general. Not that these qualities were ever that lacking for me, but I would definitely say it softened me a lot. One thing that became much stronger for me is my faith. I found an incredible church and pastor that changed my life that I continue to go to and trust that no matter how big or small my problem or situation is, I know God has it all figured out and that He has a plan for me. Sometimes, it’s veryyy veryyy hard to trust that, but deep down, I know it’s true. I’ve also started reading again (something I used to love to do, but stopped), so if you have any great reads, send them my way!
This new chapter of my life is very exciting, yet also scary, but I’m ready to take it on! So, what’s next for me….
…I’m going to buy a house this year! I’ve owned a condo in Charlotte, NC for 13 years now and have rented it out. Now that I know I’ll be in Tampa for a while, I finally made the decision to put my condo up for sale and buy something here. I can’t wait. After the divorce, I have been renting an apartment, but never felt the time was right to invest in something here. Now, I know the time is right. I’ll be sure to keep you posted as the house hunting begins!
About my outfit, red, white and blue is SO hot for spring! I know it seems a little July 4th ish, but it’s a very hot trend right now. You can’t go wrong with anything in this color combo! Fit Tips & Sizing Info:
My top and jacket run TTS. I’m wearing an XS in the cami and jacket. I think the joggers run big. You can definitely size down. I’m wearing a 00 and normally wear a 0 in pants. My shoes also run big. I would size down at least a half a size in them, if not a full size.
