My bestie, Sarah, and I went out to Longboat Key yesterday to visit with her parents, so naturally I wanted to take a few outfits to get pics with. Sarah is the one that nobody usually sees, but she’s been my sidekick and other half for a while now. She takes most of my pics and has been a shoulder to lean on through some difficult times in my life. Aren’t girlfriends just the best?! And gays haha! …almost exactly a year ago. I was with my ex-husband for 12 years (went through a divorce & got back together) and then finally broke up for good last March. Without going into too many details, it has been a crazy year filled with so many emotions, but I’m happy to say that I am in a good place personally, spiritually, and emotionally. I am fulfilled and confident, and feel like I am doing exactly what God has put me here to do. I am beyond thankful for my friends and family that have held me up, made me laugh and kept me going over the last couple of years. It was not an easy chore, I’m sure! If I could marry them all, I sure would! Ha! But let’s be real, I’m not kidding in the least.
Soo, that had nothing to do with my jumpsuit, but how cute is it?! The corset detail is super fun and flattering! I am not that curvy on the bottom half, so I love that it cinches my waist in to help a sister out! The fabric is also very lightweight and perfect for the summer heat. Fit Tips & Sizing Info:
My jumpsuit runs TTS, but is more of a junior cut. If you’re in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. My heels run TTS also. I’m wearing an XS in the jumpsuit and a 6 in the shoes, which are both of my true sizes. I am 5’2″, and normally wear a XS/0 in tops and dresses, a 23/24 jeans, and a size 6 shoe.
