My Most Used Maternity Items

When I found out I was pregnant, I was at a loss of what items I really needed to purchase and have on hand in my wardrobe. I made do in the beginning with rubber bands, etc. for my pants, and most other things worked for tops. I wanted to put together this short list of items that have kept me comfortable and made life easy for me! A few aren’t even maternity items, but they’ve worked really well for me and most are priced under $30.

These tanks from Target have been a lifesaver for months now! There only $10 and have held up really well. I wear the black one almost every day, and probably need to go ahead and get one more to alternate. I’d say if you’re like me and like to wear black, go ahead and buy 2 black, one white and one grey. I got a small and the size has been perfect for the second and third trimester.

These $12 leggings are the best! I’ve washed and worn them a ton and they’ve held up really well! They’re lightweight, but not see throug. I’m honestly shocked at how well they’ve held up for the price! I sized up 2 sizes in them and they’ve also been perfect for many months. These aren’t maternity, but hit at just the right spot on my waist. If you’re looking for leggings that don’t have a ton of control but fit well, these are for you! Best $12 I’ve spent!

This has been my go to bra for months now! I tried so many maternity bras and none were cute or supportive enough. This one is the best of both! I wear it every day–it runs tts. I also discovered these underwear back in the summer and love how soft they are. They’re also very stretchy! I like them for during the day and for sleeping.

An open cardigan is a must! Anything that you find comfortable will do, but here’s one I found lately that I absolutely love! It’s only $17 and would work even if you’re a little taller.

I wear these slippers constantly! They’re soft and plush and have a rubber sole–I definitely plan on taking them with me to the hospital. They run tts and come in lots of colors! They’re under $20!

One item I completely forgot to mention are these tees. I wear with leggings and for sleeping. I sized up several sizes for extra room, but I love how soft and stretchy they are! I bought several different patterns and of course a black and white.
