As most of you know, I am a Personal Stylist for Nordstrom and have been doing this for about 7 years now. I’ve been with Nordstrom for almost 15 years and LOVEEEE my job so much! I had the huge privilege of coming to New York City on Wednesday to bring 2 of my customers and help out with the men’s store opening. Nordstrom has wanted to be in NYC for 25 years, so it was pretty incredible to be a part of one of the biggest things our company has ever done. The building is located …
…at the corner of 57th and Broadway and women’s store will be opening in the fall of 2019. I am literally counting down the days for that! Anyway, I came up here on Wednesday for the pre-party that night. We shopped and took in every inch of the store, or at least tried to! After shopping, we went to dinner at Marea and had a 4 course Italian meal that was incredible. I highly recommend it! Yesterday was the opening day, so we shopped a little more. They had a donut wall, coffee, drinks a DJ and tons of energy! The Nordstrom family was there doing press and engaging with customers. The store is 3 levels and has every designer you can imagine. The shoe selection and sport coats were to die for! After shopping more yesterday, we lunched at Serafina and then I had dinner with friends at Vandal. Serafina was perfect for lunch and we had a delicious Italian meal. Vandal has become a NYC fav! We had the best time and the food was bomb!! Cool atmosphere, fun music, and incredible food. Some of our favorites were the Bao Buns, Tortilla Soup, Chicken parm, and Tuna Sashimi. We ended the night with a magic show featuring Dan White at the NoMad. It was by far one of the coolest things I’ve done in NYC. The tickets are super hard to get, but if you can get them, I highly recommend it!
Anyway, I wore this top to work and dinner last night paired with these pants and my all time fav leather jacket
It was perfect! The pants are high waisted enough that it won’t show any skin too. I am obsessed with them! My top runs a little small. I would say if you’re in between sizes to size up in it. My black pants run TTS and my jeans that I’m wearing here run a size big. You can size down one size in them. They are SO flattering and really suck you in. My shoes also run a size big. I’m wearing a 35 in them and normally wear a 36.
