Hey guys, Happy Wednesday! Does it feel like this year is flying by or what?? We are officially at the 6 month countdown to our wedding, and we couldn’t be more excited! We have the photographer (he was the first to be booked..naturally ha!), videographer, my dress. the colors picked out, bridesmaids dresses ordered (they will be burgundy and the guys are wearing navy or some shade of blue), and a florist. Talking with the florist was a dream. I can’t wait to see how she brings my vision to life on our special day! All of the catering including the cake is done at the Grove Park Inn, so that makes it super easy! I’ve heard the food is amazing! We’re headed to Asheville in June for the tasting, so that should be super fun!
Right now, we are thinking about what songs we want to have play and at what time. We still need a song for when we are introduced into the reception as husband and wife. We are also trying to decide whether or not to do a first look. So many decisions! We’ve heard so many pros and cons, but I think at this point we’ve decided not to do a first look and see each other for the first time at the alter. We’re considering doing a first touch though and reading vows to each other on either side of the door. We’ll see! I honestly just can’t wait for that day to be here and for Dan and I to experience it all. I know it will be perfect no matter how it turns out and what we decide!
