My Go To Sunscreen!

One of my most asked questions this summer is what my go to products are for keeping our skin protected from the sun. We feel so incredibly lucky to live where most people vacation and never take our beautiful beaches for granted. That being said, we go through a lot of sunscreen hanging out at the beach most weekends! Here are my go to products that protect our face, bodies and lips from the sun and are also safe and clean for use while I’m pregnant. These products have been a lifesaver for many years now, and most importantly they are safe and clean to use!

I learned to protect my lips years ago one time when they got burned so badly. Y’all it was so painful and took almost a week for them to heal. I found the Supergoop Lip Balm with SPF 30 and have used it ever since. My lips weren’t something I thought about using sunscreen on, but I sure do now! I also love their SPF 50 Antioxidant Body Mist. It gives your skin such a nice glow and keeps you protected at the same time. We reapply after getting out of the water or every 2-3 hours as needed. I recently tried the Supergoop CC Cream with SPF 35 and love wearing it to the beach or pool! It covers imperfections, softens fine lines, and has anti-aging benefits of skin serums while protecting your skin from harmful damage. The tones are self adjusting, and I wear the shade medium to match the rest of my tan.

Lastly, a good hat is a must! I love the weight, coverage and style of this one by Brixton. It goes with everything! These hats are available in a selection of sizes, and I wear a small for reference. I’d say they run a little small, so size up if you’re on the fence or in between sizes. My coverup also comes in a moss green color and a really cute blue and white tie dye! I’m wearing an XS for reference and I’d say it runs TTS. You could size up if you want a little extra length. The black is such a classic, but the blue and white tie dye is sooo much fun!
