As most of you know, Dan and I have been talking about getting a dog for months now, and we finally settled on this little guy. Everyone, meet Vinny! He’s a lilac merle Frenchie, and yes his ears are still floppy lol! I guess he’s a late bloomer in that department, but we love him anyway. Hopefully they will stand up on their own soon! He just turned 15 weeks old, and we are smitten already! Vinny is already spoiled with all the treats, fun toys and cutest collars and scarves. Naturally, he had to have a Christmas scarf! Getting him to pose for pictures is another task in itself, but we want to have all the family pics possible with our new little baby! Lately, we’ve been working on sleeping through the night, walking on a leash, potty training, and chewing lol! I have definitely forgotten how much work it is to have a puppy, but he’s worth every minute of it. What we’ve learned so far: take away water after about 7pm, make sure he poops twice before bed (so that he doesn’t go in his crate in the middle of the night uhh), give him strong toys for his bullie jaws to chew on. He loves the cow skin bones and is determined to chew them down. They keep him busy forever! I grabbed all of our outfits at Nordstrom for our family Christmas pic and love the way they turned out. Dan especially loved his new sherpa slippers! Since they’re a Nordstrom brand, the value and quality is amazing. I always try to buy Nordstrom brand items when I can because of that! Us trying to get a pic and Vinny eating my hair lol!
